David Moore was raised in Central Florida, and it is here that he and his beautiful wife chose to raise their wonderful son. In 1990, he was first licensed as a Real Estate agent in Florida. In 1998, David received a Bachelors in Business from Saint Leo's University and has worked in the real estate and finance fields for over 28 years.
Currently, he serves as a Marion County Commissioner and as Chairman of the Value Adjustment Board. He works as a real estate Broker which affords him the flexibility to fully dedicate himself to serving the people of Marion County. In 2009, he received a Master of Arts, Christian Studies and in 2011, he received a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University; and in May 2012, a Master of Arts in Leadership also from LRU. Prior to moving to Marion County, David served on the Republican Executive Committee in neighboring Citrus County for 5 years and now serves on the REC of Marion County. David has been active in the community volunteering with the Fort King Heritage Association, and Champions for Champions. He is the Pastor at Grand View Baptist Church in Marion County.
